Dr. Christopher V. Feudo is the President of the University of Fairfax, a graduate institution working with Cyber Security warriors of today and tomorrow to defend against malicious cyber activity that is now growing at an unprecedented rate. Such activity severely threatens the nation's public and private information infrastructure as these attacks continue to increase in complexity, frequency and severity.
Dr. Feudo previously served as the Chancellor and a member of the Board of Directors at the University of Fairfax and has been involved with the University of Fairfax since 2004. Additionally, he served as an adjunct professor at a number of prestigious universities across the National Capital Region.
With more than 20 years of extensive experience in the Cyber Security field, Dr. Feudo has served as a participant and Chair in a number of Presidential sub-committees, as an operational executive, as an executive speaker, and is an author. He is also an entrepreneurial strategist for innovative approaches to Cyber Security, business development, and Program Management.
Dr. Feudo served as an operational senior executive with more than 30 years of demonstrated success in both federal and commercial markets. He is tenacious in building new business, leveraging and improving operating and security service delivery models, securing customer loyalty, and forging strong relationships with external business partners.
He formerly served as President & CEO of UREdge Security Solutions, a SDVOB, providing tomorrow's security solutions today. Previously, he served as Vice President of Edgewater Federal Solutions and was also the President and CEO of Secureant, Inc., an advance telecommunication company providing low-cost, scalable, agnostic, and COTS-Software-based voice encryption for mobile devices. Prior to those endeavors, Dr. Feudo served as an executive at Lockheed Martin and EDS/HP, respectively, as the Director of Security and Privacy Professional Services, and Senior Manager or C4ISR and Cyber Security.
He retired from the U.S. Army where he served as an Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces Officer. Dr. Feudo is a DAWIA certified PM, co-patent holder, and a recipient of the Hammer Award, awarded by the Vice President of the United States, and the U.S. Army Medallion, awarded by the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army.
A graduate of Boston Latin High School, Dr. Feudo also earned a B.S. in Engineering from West Point, a M.S. in Computer Science at the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Doctorate of Science in Computer Science from The George Washington University. In 2006, Dr. Feudo was selected as one of four Presidential candidates for the position of Cyber Security and Telecommunications Assistant Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security.
